Delete your ournews.ai account
This page is for ournews.ai, the news app and service shown on mobile app stores. Below are the steps to request deletion and what we delete or retain.
Steps to request account deletion
- OurNews mobile app (Android & iOS): sign in → open Account → tap Delete account (low-visibility text link on the signed-in profile). Confirm in the warning dialog. This uses the same authenticated account-deletion request on our servers as any other OurNews client for your login.
If you cannot complete deletion in the app, email hi@intallaga.com with the subject line OurNews account deletion. Send the email address tied to your account so we can verify ownership. We may ask for brief confirmation before processing.
What is deleted or changed
After you confirm deletion:
- Your sessions are invalidated and you will be signed out.
- Your comments, saves, likes, and profile fields are removed or anonymized where deletion is supported.
- Your user profile is marked for deletion and personal display fields are cleared or anonymized.
Retention
For legal, security, and operational reasons, some information may be retained for a limited period after you request deletion. Your account is scheduled for final purge approximately 90 days after deletion is requested, consistent with how our servers process deletion. Aggregated or de‑identified analytics that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained.
